Notice is given, in accordance with Section 87 of the Local Government Act 1972 that 1 vacancy has occurred on Somerton Town Council, and unless a request for an election is submitted in writing to the Proper Officer of the South Somerset District Council at the Council Offices, Brympton Way, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 2HT, by 3rd February 2020, by 10 electors for the Parish of Somerton, the Town Council will proceed to fill the vacancy by co-option.
