Temporary Closure of Bancombe Road

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations
Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the
County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC
from proceeding along Bancombe Road for a distance of approximately 89
metres.

This order will enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new gas main.

The Order becomes effective on 20 August 2020 and will remain in force for
eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th August 2020 and
last for 33 days.

Date Change – Temporary Road Closure: Northfield, Somerton

Please be aware that we have received notification of a date change to a temporary road closure at Northfield, Somerton  for approximately 20 metres.

The new date for the works to commence is 27th July 2020  at 00:00 and is expected to last until  30th July 2020  at 23:59.

These works are for Ashtead Plant Hire to carry out sewer connection works, their works reference is ARN-3300-50227537.

Somerset County Council District of South Somerset District Parish of Somerton Temporary Closure of Northfield TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Northfield for a distance of approximately 244 metres.
This order will enable Barden Network Engineering to Install fibre cable on behalf of BT Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 09 July 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. Somerset County Council District of South Somerset District Parish of Somerton Temporary Closure of Behind Berry TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Behind Berry for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
This order will enable Barden Network Engineering to install fibre cabling on behalf of BT Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 09 July 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Kingweston Road for a distance of approximately 41 metres.
This order will enable Network Rail to carry out safety examinations to the bridge structure. The Order becomes effective on 18 June 2020and will remain in force for eighteen months.
