September is “Catch The Bus Month” – a national campaign to raise awareness of just what good value “BUSSING IT” is! It’s only £2 for a single journey (or free after 0930 or anytime at weekends for holders of a concessionary pass) and that could be as long as the NEW 50 mile journey from Yeovil to Bristol via Somerton.
Somerset Bus Partnership will run lots of bus stalls in September – there was one in Somerton on 29th August, when Emery & Martyn had at least 50 visitors to pick up timetables and ask questions about buses.
The only way to keep and improve bus services is to encourage as many people as possible to use them.
