Highway Works Somerton – Footway maintenance – with road closure
Somerset Council will be carrying out essential maintenance to the footways adj/near the King Ina school as per the enclosed map screenshot details, which may be found on the one.network website. Any changes to dates or the program will be displayed on that website.
The works are schedule to be carried out from 28th Oct 2024 to 3rd Dec 2024.
The nature of the works, the equipment and Health and Safety will require the road to be closed. The works are being carried out to allow pedestrians the facility to walk past the work site whilst the road is closed but will not always allow vehicles to pass, please note that work activities on site are expected to be limited to between 09:00 and 15:30 to reduce noise/dust issues with adjacent pedestrians.
